Each month the Korean Cultural Centre showcases one aspect of the Korean culture to Nigerians, sometimes comparing Nigerian and Korean Culture.
This year, the Korean Cultural Centre has a new format for its monthly Korean culture Day. Every other month, A Korean film of varying genres will be screened at the Korean Cultural Centre Studio.
For the month of May, an animated film adapted from a storybook will be screened. The film was the highest gross animated film when it came out with record-breaking ticket sales, so be sure not to miss out on this!
Movie Title: Daisy, A hen into the Wild
Synopsis: "Leafie is a hen who manages to escape the horrible conditions of an egg production line. After surviving a harrowing encounter with a one-eyed weasel and being rejected by the barnyard animals where she grew up, a chance encounter sees her becoming the guardian of a duckling. Despite the child being a duck, Leafie is willing to learn and make the sacrifices she needs in order to ensure the happiness of her son."
