Most Used Words and Phrases in Korean Drama (K-Drama) and KPop

My first assignment for the KPop Academy is to make a list of ten words or phrases in Korean that are often used in my favorite K-Dramas, K-Films, Korean Books, and by my favorite K-Pop artists.

Challenge accepted!!!!

The challenge here being toning it down to 10 because I already have a lot that I love...

KPop Academy Week #1: Orientation.

Last weekend I had my London International Model United Nations Conference. But I also had the first session of my Academy at the Korean Cultural Centre, so I excused myself from the afternoon session and headed for the Centre.

This was how it went....

SBS Gayo Daejeon 2013 ~ You are a Miracle.

I recently became an avid KPopper and I listen to only Korean music 95% of the time. So you can imagine that I wasn't aware of this event until recently. Regardless of how late it is I feel I should share this with all you KPop lovers and music enthusiast out there.

I love the message behind the song and it doesn't hurt that some of my fave people are in the video. 125 artists participated in the friendship project to make a music video where all proceeds from it will be donated to charity. Expect to see GDragon, Taeyang, 2PM, 2NE1, EXO, B.A.P, K.Will, IU, B1A4, CN Blue, Ailee, SNSD, SHinee, Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae and a lot more.

My fave part was obviously GD's part and the smile when he noticed Taeyang looking at Ailee ♡ and when Tiger JK whispered in yonn mirae's ears. ooohhh the feels!!!!

Enjoy and comment on your fave part or group and your bias....

Arang Restaurant London, A Review

It is no secret that I have a thing for the Korean culture. This love affair has introduced me to a whole new world of possibilities and opportunities. I have met a lot of interesting people and I myself have experienced interesting things. One of the things I am lucky to have is lots and lots of Korean food, it seems that East Asia has created a niche in western cities. Here in London you are sure to find abundance of Chinese, Korean, Japanese and a lot of other Asian cuisines. Every Opportunity I get I like trying out Korean restaurants.

My newest find is Arang. I have not heard of it before and it surprisingly wasn't listed on my Korean Restaurant Guide App (yes, it exist and I most definitely have it on my phone). I went there with three other girlfriends and one of them recommended it. It is a short walking distance from Piccadilly circus.

Day in London; Chinese New Year Festival 2014

Hello there internet friends :) I hope you all are having a great year so far. As for me lots of exciting things have been going on. I have managed to keep up with my New me Resolutions which I think is a huge accomplishment. I don't procrastinate as often as I used. I am lucky enough to be able to be a part of a few exciting projects which I will soon share with you guys, I am super psyched about it because it involves a few of my fave hobbies.

Anyways I have finally gotten enough free time to tell you guys about my day out with friends in London. It involves the festival, Chinatown, street performances and so much more....

I realised just now that I have more videos than pictures from the day, but no worries I am going to make a vlog as well.

I am Other

Today's post was inspired by two things that occurred in the past few days.

A few days back I was looking through my old Journal from when I was 19 (feels like yesterday, I still cannot believe I am 21), when I found this little writeup that held so much meaning to me. It said a lot about me and my life in just a few short sentences.
