Last week we learnt how to make two korean dishes, so it was fitting for this week's assignment for us to create some korean yumminess, or try to anyways. The task was to choose one of the following:
1. Make Korean food after shopping at a local supermarket.
2. Make your own fusion Korean Food.
(e.g. cheese bulgogi, curry tteokboki...etc)
3. In Korea they have specific food for special occasions.
For example, it is common to eat Mi Yeok guk on Birthdays,
Jan chi guk su at Weddings and Juk when you are sick.
Find out about a specific type of food that is eaten in a certain situation and cook this dish for someone who is in this situation.
You can watch the Recipe Video I made below....
P.S to watch a larger video, use this link to go to YouTube.
I wanted to try the third one but for some reason I woke up today and decided on Jjajangmyun instead, I remembered how I always wondered about it from watching KDramas and so I wanted to try it. With lots of help from Maangchi's YouTube channel ( She is this sweet Ahjumma that makes videos of korean cooking, incase you want to try it out) I made a shopping list. Seeing that I choose option 1, I headed to tesco to do some shopping.
