Heeyyyyy!!
It's been a minute, I know. I have been so busy the past few weeks that the time just flew by.
How have ya'll been? what have you been up to?
There is so much going on with me...and one of the things that has kept me busy is a radio show I started with a few friends back in January. As a journalism student, it is required for me to have credit hours for radio journalism. So I convinced a few friends to start a program on Korean entertainment.
In our first season, we introduced different types of Korean entertainment every week. From dramas, to variety, films, music shows, kpop and so on..my friends didn't know zilch about Korean entertainment or knew just a little, so it was fun seeing them grow interest with every week to the point where they have favourite Kpop songs and binge watch Korean dramas!!
This season, we have a different format where we talk abut the latest news in the kpop and kdrama world and play music. It is a chill lunchtime show. If you want to tune in, let me know and I will tell you how :)
The great thing about doing this show is that I get introduced to new music every week because my friends don't have a bias so they listen to everything and choose the good songs!! Speaking of which here is a song we played yesterday that is stuck in my head....
On the Korean language front, I have not had any structured studying since Easter break (spring break), but I watch at least a video everyday where they speak Korean, so I have had the opportunity to learn that way.
